A 19-year-old man arrested for investigation of voyeurism Monday allegedly told police he recorded women in the locker room at the Ballard pool because he "missed his girlfriend."

A worker at the pool -- located in the 1400 block of Northwest 67th Street -- called police about a cell phone she found in the female staff changing room that was recording when she spotted it.

She reportedly spotted a male lifeguard in the footage and identified him as the 19-year-old man.

After police arrived at the pool, she told officers she stopped the recording when she found the phone and played the video back to find the 19-year-old setting up the phone and placing it in the female changing room, according to Seattle police reports.

The woman held onto the phone and handed it to police.

Cops talked to the 19-year-old man, who said he put the phone in the locker room because he "missed his girlfriend," according to the arrest report. After being arrested for investigation of voyeurism and further interviewed, he did not provide any other reason for recording the women, police say.

A King County Superior Court judge found probable cause for his arrest Tuesday and released him pending any charges that might be filed against him.
