Whether employed as a part of the Australian government educational system, at a primary, or secondary schooling, university level lever or indeed as a private tutor. you will impart a solid understanding of all mathematical concepts in you chosen discipline.

Responsibilities & Skills

Imparting knowledge in the wonderful world of maths would generally be through planned lessons. Following a set curriculum would be expected where employment is via a government body such as the Australian Board of Studies. A private tutor however has a little more scope to add lessons of a more individual nature, focusing on strengths of an individual

The ability to deliver lessons in a helpful, constructive, and sometimes insightful way is dependent on the personal skills of the teacher. Text books are one thing but practical lessons, and the ability to engage students can ensure a memorable experience.

Required Qualifications

• Each sate and Territory in Australia has its own guidelines for teachers
• Tertiary training inclusive of a teaching degree recognised by the individual state or territory
• A certain level of prior learned mathematics
