I mainly go on twitter at the moment to block the massively inappropriate ads I am receiving. I’m not sure what algorithm buttons I am pressing, but I have absolutely NO INTEREST in religious fundamentalism, muscle cars, the stock market, or every gambling firm on the planet…

I love watching ’s travels on here. To say he goes off the beaten-path would be the understatement of the year! I wish I had his fearlessness and wanderlust.

All football fans are interested in their clubs record...date,opponent result, scorer, attendance etc. ....but new book tells of a different record.....a record about the 'heart & soul' of a club...a story of life & death...a story of belonging over the decades

Beautiful hand-made brooch made by the exiled Hong Kong community in Southampton. Why do bad things always happen to good people. And how do good people always seem to find a way to smile and carry on in the face of those bad things? An inspiration

I had a thing for these progs from the eighties when I was a boy. They were so neat, colourful, and full of a love for the club. I’d save my pocket money and buy them from Steve Earl. Even though I lived in Southampton and supported the Saints!

All the teams in the first qualifying round of the 23/24 Uefa Conference League draw. My favourite time of the club season!

Currently amazed and enthralled by the Gyalyum Chenmo Memorial Gold Cup in Tibet Lack of resources, finances, facilities, training, a national team which isn’t affiliated by FIFA, high altitudes, continued oppression. Yet here they are, still playing the beautiful game

Just wow. I finally got round to finishing The Ghosts of Inchmery Road by @MatGuy5 and I’m at a loss for words for how beautiful, melancholic, heartwarming and moving that was. I would have finished it earlier had I not cried every chapter! Thank you again for sending me it!

I’m getting a serious case of envy over the upcoming championships. One (amazing looking) venue. Two games each day, featuring teams I’ve wanted to see for a long time. If only money and time wasn’t an issue I’d be there!

I never respond to the constant trail of emails demanding reviews for things I have bought... unless the item really deserves it... and comes from a small independent... I have just written a review on for The Good Lion by Len Doherty
