Police search for NQ man missing in red Camry

UPDATE 8pm:

The 78-year-old man reported missing from Home Hill has been located safe and well.

EARLIER:

POLICE are seeking public assistance to help locate a 78-year-old man who has been reported missing from Home Hill, north of Mackay.

Graham Walker was last seen by family at midday Wednesday, leaving his home to attend the Home Hill library in his red 1991 Toyota Camry, registration 210HVD.

Police said a member of the public spoke to Mr Walker on Charlies Hill Road at 1.30pm.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 160cm tall and has a medium build, grey hair, brown eyes and a grey beard.

He was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, beige shorts and no shoes.

Police hold concerns for Mr Walker's safety as he suffers from a medical condition and may become disoriented.

Anyone who may have seen Mr Walker, his vehicle or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
