Description
The Palliative Care Data Working Group (PCDWG) was established to promote the consistency, quality and relevance of palliative care data, and to provide guidance and expert advice to the AIHW project team in relation to the Palliative Care Information Development project (DOC).
The PCDWG is a sub-group of the Palliative Care Intergovernmental Forum and provides advice to that forum; it consults with the Health Data Standards Committee and other relevant groups on palliative care data issues and has representatives from the Australian Government Department of Health, all states and territories, the AIHW, Palliative Care Australia, the Palliative Care Outcomes Collaboration, and the Australian Government Department of Veterans' Affairs.
