    Also, police appealing for information after a 33yo Moe man was robbed on Saturday night. Police said the man attended the Moe Police Station with "significant facial injuries", and claimed he had been forced to withdraw money from an ATM by two men.

    A woman was taken to hospital on Sunday morning after she was struck by an SUV on Kay Street, Traralgon. Police said the 25-year-old Yallourn North woman was struck outside Ryan's Hotel about 2.35am.

    There's a man in Traralgon impersonating the PoPo. Police say a middle-aged man has been introducing himself in stores and offices in the CBD as "police" or "federal police". He's been seen wearing scruffy plain clothes. Witnesses urged to phone the real police.

    Here’s the remains of one homes damaged in three seperate fires overnight. Fires were lit between 3:30am and 6am.

    The Merton Rush Hotel and two homes in Morwell have been damaged in three suspicious fires overnight. Police believe the fires are related and are appealing for witnesses. The pub closed in May 2017.

    Latrobe City will write to state gov calling for it to release the Timber Release Plan, which was due July last year. Cr Harriman says a local business has already announced it will close due to uncertainty of work.

    In other news, AGL Loy Yang's 108-metre superload will return to the Latrobe Valley on Thursday. The 600-tonne convoy will leave Port Melbourne tonight carrying a generator which was sent to Germany last year for repairs.

    Former RTL worker David Briggs, employed as an excavator operator during the 2014 Hazelwood mine fire is about to speak to media. Mr Briggs has a WorkCover hearing before the LV Magistrates’ Court.

    Mr Briggs now estimates he has a lung capacity of about 30 per cent. On the day he enetered the Hazelwood mine, March 3, 2014, he passed a lung function test at a medical centre of Commerical Road, Morwell and recorded a lung capacity of 150 per cent.

    He was diagnosed with interstitial lung disease associated with an autoimmune condition called amyopathic dermatomyositis several months after working in the mine. Initially he thought he had the flu. He requires an oxygen tank and can only walk short distances.

    A WorkCover claim was rejected by his employer, RTL Mining and Earthworks, and its insurer. Two doctors will give evidence this afternoon. The court has already heard from three specialists including a respiratory and sleep physician.
