Our Office of Technology Ventures helps Hopkins faculty and students turn their discoveries and inventions into successful enterprises, like new cancer treatments, a mobile health platform, and a device to detect and prevent blindness caused by diabetes.
We’ve launched an innovation hub, invested in an incubator for socially innovative endeavors and an accelerator for health care information technologies, created an entrepreneurship boot camp, and convened a new cohort of mentors-in-residence for entrepreneurship.
Since 2012, we’ve secured more than 500 U.S. patents and helped our students and faculty launch 67 startups.
Whether in science and medicine or business and social enterprises, our students and faculty are developing new techniques, new models, and new products—and working hard to bring them to market.
