Three people have been arrested and one killed by detectives in the search for the person who fatally ran over a Seattle police officer's son at a Sammamish park last week.

Moises Radcliffe, 22, died while confronting car prowlers at Beaver Lake Park. The King County Sheriff's Office believes detectives have arrested the 23-year-old Renton woman who allegedly drove the SUV that killed Radcliffe.

Radcliffe was walking with his girlfriend and dog about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday when he confronted people prowling his car, Sheriff's Office reports say. He reportedly drew his gun and fired a shot at the SUV occupied by the prowlers. The SUV struck him and carried him across the parking lot until Radcliffe was pinned beneath the wheel and hit a curb, according to the Sheriff's Office. He was declared dead at the scene.

Video footage caught someone tossing a purse out a window of the SUV. Meanwhile, Radcliffe's girlfriend reported that a bank card was stolen from her wallet, which she had left in her car, reports indicate.

That stolen car was used about an hour later at a Renton Fred Meyer, detectives learned. Surveillance footage at the store caught a 17-year-old Federal Way girl and a 16-year-old Des Moines boy using the card, according to court records.

Sheriff's detectives conducted an undercover operation in connection with the case on Friday in the 21600 block of 29th Avenue South in Des Moines. Detectives used a ruse to draw a 16-year-old boy believed to be involved in the car prowling outside about 10:30 p.m., However, the 16-year-old was joined by a 17-year-old boy, both armed with pistols, reports say.

The 17-year-old fired at detectives despite verbal orders to drop his weapon, according to the Sheriff's Office. Three detectives returned fire and hit him. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center, but died of his injuries.

The 16-year-old ran away and hid in a nearby apartment, ditching his gun along the way.

Authorities detained him and booked him into the King County Youth Services Center for investigation of weapons charges. Detectives do not think he was at the scene of Radcliffe's death.

Detectives found the 17-year-old girl from the Fred Meyer footage Saturday morning at a house in the 6800 block of South 133rd Street in Skyway. She was with the 23-year-old Renton woman authorities believe drove the SUV that killed Radcliffe.

The teen was arrested for investigation of identity theft and stolen property possession, while the 23-year-old woman was booked into King County Jail for investigation of vehicular homicide. Detectives believe the teen was also at the site of the slaying.

The 23-year-old woman remains held on $1 million bail. She has not been charged.

The three deputies involved in the shooting of the 17-year-old are a 42-year-old sergeant with 11 years' experience at the Sheriff's Office, a 36-year-old detective with 10 years of experience and a 36-year-old detective with 5 years at the Sheriff's Office. They are on routine paid administrative leave pending the investigation of the incident.
