I'm here way too much and have never left a review and all I can say is 4 things:
    1. Best wood fired pizza in Seattle
    2. Best caesar salad in Seattle
    3. Best meatballs in Seattle
    4. Best selection of beer taps in Seattle.

    Pizza are not excellent, bottom
Fully burned and still not fully cooked
A bartender took the order "to go" and messed up the order, and gave me an $18 pizza instead of a plain margarita for $11 hours
They were a little rude and pushing on selling me an other drink even though I ordered "to go" and had already paid. He told me the pizza were gonna take a little while, but after I said no, not even a minute passed before I get my (burned) pizza.
One of them was eating at a table and was talking loudly with other coworkers, some were burping without much shame.
Not I place I'll go back, and not a place worth spending time and money.
Worst $45 for 2 pizza and a beer I have spend.

    Upside, place seemed cool...

Only been there once as I'm from out of town and I only had the pizza.
I've had pizza in the best places in NY as well as in Naples (Italy) and I thought my pie at The Masonry was as good as any I've ever had.
The place was a tad loud for my taste but it was Halloween so it may have been a one off.
If I was in town for more than two nights I would have gone back a second time.
Great pizza guys - keep it up!

These guys know their pizza, beers, and rock n roll... so if you like any of those things, you want to be getting yourself to this place bc you will be very, very happy.
As a East Coast pizza snob, I am very impressed with their go at pizza.  It gets the sauce right!  It's really unique with a tiny kick.  They probably should be more patient with the dough bc it doesn't cook properly... it does get a bit soggy in the middle.  But quality ingredients, the wood fire taste, and that sauce?  They are close to perfection.  And that is a rare thing.  Did I mention great beer selection and spinning LPs?  Spot on boys!

This is a cool hip place but it's too small!! I walked in with a group of 7 and we had to sit separately because there weren't enough room. Hope these guys make a lot of money and hopefully remodel and have bigger space :)
happy hour is only for food.

    Definitely among Seattle's best 'za.

Not quite what I would consider authentic Neapolitan-style pizza. However, The Masonry has great pizza. GREAT pizza. The dough is high quality and the sauce is delicious. Pizza is not completely watery as opposed to many wood-fired thin crust pizzas. Topping options are a bit limited, but very good. I would typically stick with the Margherita because it is a damn near perfect pizza. Servings are likely a bit larger than most people would want for a single serving, but too small (for me) to split & not remain hungry.

The Masonry also provides a really good selection of beers. Taps are on constant rotation and offerings vary. The big bonus is that The Masonry provides many quality non-IPA brews on tap - a valued rarity in the far too hopped-out Seattle. A lot of variety & one of the best selections around.

Employees are great - always personable but not overbearing.

Good music, too. Sometimes there'll be old b&w horror films playing on the t.v. which i often found to be great/interesting/hilarious when paired with the often eclectic music.

I can't recommended this place enough.

This place did not leave me thinking I'd be back any time soon. Lunch menu rather narrow with only three choices of pizza and few salads. The Cesar salad was good though. The sausage pizza was nothing to brag about. It was very oily and cheesy. Added shallots didn't bring any value to the taste of pizza rather leaving my mouth have yucky aftertaste. I'd describe my pizza experience memorable in a negative way. My stomach just didn't feel right.
Pros: a good selection of beer, tasty pizza crust and good service. However I'll not be coming back because Seattle simply doesn't lack good wood fired pizza places

I chose this place because of the great reviews on Yelp and proximity to the Key Arena. Stay away unless all you want is a beer. A couple of pizzas to choose from but a huge beer selection. The service was terrible but not near as bad as the pizza. The dough didn't even rise and the middle was all dough with cold sauce on top. When I picked up a slick all of the toppings slid off and it the pizza dough just flopped down because it wasn't cooked. I couldn't believed they served us that pizza. I was going to mention this when they came back by and asked how the food was, but that never happened. Paid and left as soon as we could.

Should you go: Go out of your way to go!

    Food: Amazing pizza!
Drink: Great selection of local craft beers
    Service: Relaxed but attentive
Parking: No lot nearby, maybe street or do ride share

They have only 6 pizza selections, but it was so delicious! Super thin crust with really quality toppings. Tried the prosciutto one - crisp prosciutto with a sweet cherry relish that made me unable to stop eating!!

They have some seafood and other items too, but the pizza was a meal unto itself. They do blast some amazing old school hip hop on turn table - so go to hear some of your favorite beats! Beers go fast, so go before your favorite keg runs out

Expertly chosen beer on tap and in bottle.  Incredible food all cooked in a wood fired oven. And an amazing crew who put on a masterclass in hospitality make this place perfect.

Been meaning to try this place for, well, over two years now, and finally made it in. One of our servers told us their third anniversary is coming up this summer, and I can't believe it's already been that long. Tempus fugit.

You're on the new Roy Street here, for sure. It's two ways now, and most of the buildings have been spruced up in some way. The Masonry is one of the spruced, taking over part of the last building on your right before you turn to go up the counterbalance to the top of QA. They're small, and it's a busy little road, but they do have a parking garage tucked in behind. They host an awful lot of beer events here, and sometimes they take out all the furniture to make room for people. And still have a line out the door, even when it's already SRO. Include me out of those shenanigans, but otherwise count me in for whatever these guys are doing.

First and foremost, you don't have to be a beer geek to like their beer program, and you don't have to be a foodie to love their kitchen. You can wander in just because you like pizza and beer, which is about as individualistic as driving on the freeway. But if you do happen to be really interested in unusual beers and ambitious cookery, these guys can for sure take care of you.

Back to the beginning: you walk in past a little sidewalk patio that seats about 4, and into a room with a short bar, a medium-sized communal highboy table, and a few 2/4-tops down the side. The walls are all done up with graffiti-esque murals, and the light fixtures are all recycled beer bottles. The tables are sturdy wood and lightweight metal frames. It's informal with style. There's a big beer bottle cooler that the servers manage, and there's a display kitchen with a big wood-fired brick pizza oven smoldering away. They leave printed menus and beer lists on the table. They have crates of vinyl behind the bar, and they cranked everything from John Coltrane Africa/Brass to the Stones to newer stuff over the course of a few hours. We even got to hear the first 12 bars of "Jumpin' Jack Flash" at 45 RPM.

The beer program here is highly specialized, but they clearly gets lots of locals who are just happy to knock back a flagon o' suds. I heard people at other tables getting names wrong and knowing nothing about what they were ordering, but the staff were super welcoming and patient with them, and they ended up loving what they were drinking. I really appreciate beer places that take the time and effort to be nice like that. We went through the beer list and caught some rare treats; those ended up being sold out. They offered some even rarer treats from off the menu, so no hard feelings by any means.

They host all kinds of special events centered around beer--brewer's nights with tap takeovers, and mini-fests centered around a country or region or style, with all kinds of rare stuff pouring and cracking. I hate packed sweaty crowds, but if you don't mind them, you should check those out.

The food here, though--damn. This place could stand on its own just by the merits of the kitchen. We had the beer clams, which were probably the best clams I've ever had. I'm trying to be as objective as I can about this, and I just can't remember having better ones, or even equally good ones. A little bitterness (beer) in the broth, a little richness (butter) but not too much, celery, leeks, fennel, seasonings, a little kick, and dozens of fresh butter clams. Mmmmm-hm. We had the yam gnocchi, which was not as sweet as you'd think, and had nice smoky counterpoint from chopped bacon, and good seasoning otherwise. Perfect heavy chew to them without being doughy mush. The pizza was incredible--prosciutto and fig with herb frissee and shaved cheese. The dough was nice and light airy with a good chew to it; I could go crackerier and crisper but that's the tiniest of quibbles.

In the end, 3 rounds of beers, clams, gnocchi, and pizza were $106. Not cheap, but this was a big meal and very reasonably priced for what we got. I'll definitely be looking for any reason I can think of to come back.

The mussels were amazing! Fresh and so delicious. And the bread that accompanied it was just as good. Loved this place -- just wish we had one like it in Chicago! The wine was on tap too! And the staff was super nice. Will be back next time we're in town.

For starters, compared to the place down the street (The Rock), parking is much better here considering Masonry has their own lot.

They have a great selection of draft beer and a nice aura. Light fixtures are made of old beer bottles. Vinyls all around.

I started with the house made focaccia. Nice fluffy bread, but somewhat tasteless and dry.

Then had the margherita pie, which was $10 with their daily happy hour (2-5pm). Flimsy. Not all that tasty. Massive chunks of garlic and basil try to remedy the mediocre sauce to no success. Crust is just a bit too burnt for my liking (and I'm usually a burnt crust kind of guy).

Great selection of craft beers and pizzas. Awesome service. Really cool atmosphere in a great neighborhood.

The seating is a tad cozy... Meaning there isn't a lot of it. We had to make friends at a long table in the center of the restaurant.

    This place was so chill!
We went while we were on vacation!

I know if we lived here we would hang out here a lot!

This pizza was great and I love that the bartender was friendly and told us about local Seattle beers!

I really wanted the beer glass with their logo on it and turns out they sell them!

    Great souvenir for our trip.

    Loveeeee the music selection.
Made me want to live here.

Great pizza, awesome meatballs, and one of the best beer selections I've seen. Get there early, because this place is always busy! Service is generally good, but can get slow at times- very hit or miss. The best pizzas are the ones with sauce; if you don't get sauce, I recommend dipping into the sauce that comes with the meatballs.
Dropping 1 star because they put UFC on both tvs today! Why?? Nobody wants to see bloody, disgusting fighting while eating. Definitely doesn't fit the atmosphere either... Would have stuck around for more drinks if they hadn't done that.
