The Dakota pipeline

This is a topic — facilitating fossil fuel consumption — that as an atmospheric scientist I KNOW that decisions will go down in history loud and clear labeling people and groups as liable for the destruction of our atmosphere, climate and oceans.  e.g. the Army Corps of Engineers current actions.    How can we be so stupid?!
