Writer/broadcaster Eleanor Wachtel has hosted Writers & Company from its inception. She brings her thoughtfulness and wit to conversations with such distinguished writers as Salman Rushdie, Susan Sontag, Martin Amis and Isabel Allende. Eleanor draws out not only the intellectual, but also the personal, lives of her guests.
