Does the website work on all browsers?

Yes it will but there may be a few problems with very old browers, especially Internet Explorer and Safari.  These problems may be things like pages taking a long time to load, photos and images not visible and big multimedia content like videos and audio not displaying properly. The best thing to do if you encounter any problems is to upgrade to the latest version of the browser.

Our Stories section is an exciting new addition to the Library’s website. It takes some of the many great and unique Library collections and then turns them into narrative stories. These can be read as short reads with your morning coffee or there’s more in depth stories you can enjoy over the course of a long train journey.  They include such riveting pieces as the turbulent life of Henry Lawson;  or the Holtermann collections that thrust you back into gold mining towns in the late nineteenth century. We are adding to the Stories collection continuously so do keep checking in.
