    I like weird people. The black sheep, the odd ducks, the rejects, the eccentrics, the loners, the lost and forgotten. More often than not, these people have the most beautiful souls.

  15. How many forces do mandatory House-to-House enqs?? What's the success rate? Or flood an area with cops after an incident for "reassurance", but then have to "reassure" the public that they're only there for reassurance?! There's many more effective ways to deploy staff.

  16. Until we change our way of doing things from being incident-focused to being person-centred, we'll always be responding rather than preventing. Every call is a result of unmet need. We must find the need and help (with others) to address it. Treat causes, not symptoms.
