    The hard shoulder - dangerous, unforgiving & it doesn’t discriminate. Please please DO NOT sit & wait in your car on a motorway hard shoulder. You wouldn’t survive impacts such as this! Pls RT.

    Chesterfield. Not the Tyres to be relying on in the rain. Both heavily worn and one with a cord exposed. Each Tyre offence carries 3 penalty points on a driving licence.

    First vehicle stopped is as I'm pulling out of the station...nurse going to work on their phone reading a text message. Driver stopped and given a TOR. She will be on nine points now.

    Everyone sees it. Everyone moans about it, yet so many people fail to use headlights in wet weather. Can you see the car? It’s barely visible in the mirror. Drive to conditions in wet weather - slow down & use headlights. Not side lights or DRL.

    Plenty of weather about! Band of heavy thundery rain now moving west through our patch. May result in some poor travelling conditions. After it clears isolated thunderstorms may break out. More thunderstorms over next 2 days with Friday looking most likely to see big storms.
