A prayer blog is a blog where one blogs one's prayers and only one's prayers, but not necessarily all of one's prayers. This activity is religion independent but does particularly facilitate 'social prayers' and is not useful in the traditional prayer rituals of some religions.[1]
Most Abrahamic religious traditions teach that prayer can be done spontaneously by any person at any moment. A prayer blog utilizes the more recent forms of human communication for this type of prayer. A prayer blog can be submitted by a variety of means, including text messaging, instant messaging, tweets, email, MP3 or blog entries. Prayer blogs can be either private or public, but they are usually not advertised by their authors to other people.
