This version of "The world is waiting for the sunrise" was recorded at The Harp Hotel, Albrighton, Shropshire, England on Sunday, February 10th. 2008 by the Antique Six Jazz Band (mini version)
Although I didn't get the start of this number, because I hadn't got my camera ready, I thought what I did get was well worth sharing.
Once again Chris Pearce, on clarinet and soprano, showed what an extremely gifted reed player he is and the backing by the rhythm section of Len Thwaites on bass, Graham Smith on drums and Dennis Mowatt on banjo was spot on.
This was part of another great session at the Harp.
Sessions at the Harp are held every Sunday lunchtime and Tuesday evening. Details from John or Marie Howell on 01902 756158

Guy Pearce
Guy Edward Pearce (born 5 October 1967) is an Anglo-Australian actor and musician. He is well known for having starred in the role of Mike Young in the Australian television series Neighbours and in films such as The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994), L.A. Confidential (1997), Memento (2000), The Count of Monte Cristo (2002), The Road (2009), The King's Speech (2010), Prometheus (2012), and Iron Man 3 (2013). In Australian cinema, he has appeared in The Proposition (2005), Animal Kingdom (2010), The Rover (2014), and Holding the Man (2015). He has won an Emmy Award and received nominations for Golden Globe Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, and AACTA Awards.
Early life
Pearce was born in Ely, Cambridgeshire. His mother, Anne Cocking (born as Pickering), was from County Durham, England; she was a schoolteacher specialising in needlework and home economics. His father, Stuart Pearce, was a New Zealand-born RAAF test pilot who died flying a GAF Nomad when Pearce was eight. When he was 3 years old, Pearce moved to Geelong, Victoria, where his mother ran a deer farm. He attended the Geelong College, a local private school, and was a member of the GSODA Junior Players. From the age of 15 to 22, he was a competitive amateur bodybuilder, leading to the title of Junior Mr. Victoria. He also took part in fencing. He lived in Box Hill North, Victoria in the late 1980s while working on the Australian drama series Neighbours.

Christopher Nolan
Christopher Edward Nolan (/ˈnoʊlən/; born 30 July 1970) is an English-American film director, screenwriter, and producer. He is one of the highest-grossing directors in history, and among the most successful and acclaimed filmmakers of the 21st century.
Having made his directorial debut with Following (1998), Nolan gained considerable attention for his second feature, Memento (2000). The acclaim of these independent films gave Nolan the opportunity to make the big-budget thriller Insomnia (2002), and the mystery drama The Prestige (2006). He found further popular and critical success with the The Dark Knight Trilogy (2005–2012), Inception (2010) and Interstellar (2014). His nine films have grossed over US$4.2 billion worldwide and garnered a total of 26 Oscar nominations and seven awards. Nolan has co-written several of his films with his brother, Jonathan Nolan, and runs the production company Syncopy Inc. with his wife Emma Thomas.
Nolan's films are rooted in philosophical, sociological and ethical concepts, exploring human morality, the construction of time, and the malleable nature of memory and personal identity. His body of work is permeated by metafictive elements, temporal shifts, solipsistic perspectives, nonlinear storytelling, practical special effects, and analogous relationships between visual language and narrative elements.

Wintringham Shot & Cut by Jordan Lee Willox This was a film we made in 1997 at Victoria School of the Arts in Edmonton, AB, Canada with the help of an awesome cast and crew made up entirely of hyper-dedicated students (and some supportive parents, too ;) ) It was meant as a loose drug awareness film, and had a two-night showing in the theatre at Vic, as well as a run as the headlining film of the inaugural Edmonton Fringe Flicks Festival in 1998. It received 3 1/2 stars from Mark Horton of the Edmonton Journal. This upload is for anyone (like me) that has found it nearly impossible to find this movie in any form. I've been looking for a long time and finally found it and decided that this movie needs to be shared with the world. I'm not doing this for likes, but my only request for this upload is, if you enjoy and love this movie, let as many people know about it as possible. It's a very rare movie and I believe, as I'm sure the production crew would have agreed, it should've seen wider distribution (or any distribution :\ ). This upload is for anyone (like me) that has found it nearly impossible to find this movie in any form. I've been looking for a long time and finally found it and decided that this movie needs to be shared with the world. I'm not doing this for likes, but my only request for this upload is, if you enjoy and love this movie, let as many people know about it as possible. It's a very rare movie and I believe, as I'm sure the production crew would have agreed, it should've seen wider distribution (or any distribution :\ ). I've heard that not even the cast has copies of the movie, which to me is sad. Maybe they'll finally get to view it now! :D

Variety is reporting that the release date for Pacific Rim Uprising has been delayed, again, this time by only one month. The sequel saw a series of release dates that first started on April 7, 2017; which was then moved to August 4, 2017 and then again to February 23, 2018. Now, the date has been set for March 23rd, 2018 – only a month, with no reason given as to why.
Split still stands as one of the best surprises of 2017. The R-rated thriller grossed more than $276 million worldwide and revealed that, all along, it was a sequel to Unbreakable. Collider’s own Steve Weintraub recently sat down with Jackson at the press day for The Hitman’s Bodyguard where Jackson revealed to Steve that filming begins this September 25th on Glass with a release now set for January 18th, 2019.
In 2015 they announced a LEGO spinoff called The Billion Brick Race, with Jason Segel and Drew Pearce writing and co-directing. We haven’t heard much since until yesterday when THR announced that Segel and Pearce are no longer involved and Jorge Gutierrez, the director behind The Book of Life, is now onboard to develop and direct. Plot details are still under wraps with a release date yet to be determined.
People Magazine exclusively released the newest trailer for Goodbye Christopher Robin. The Fox Searchlight film highlights the relationship between the title character and his famous author father, A.A. Milne, and explores the creation of Winnie the Pooh and his friends.

Newly confirmed Shazam director David F. Sandberg made a name for himself with the well-received horror films Lights Out and the upcoming Annabelle: Creation. But he’ll be doing the superhero shift into the DCEU with Shazam. Bushman – Sings The Bush Doctor: A Tribute To Peter Tosh, Full Album released 2011.
Bushman’s admiration of Peter Tosh has been obvious ever since the release of his late-‘90s cut “Cannabis,” which slithered and smoked like an updated version of Tosh’s “Legalize It.” He’s also close to Tosh’s range and phrasing when it comes to vocal delivery, or in the case of this tribute album, he’s perilously close. With the singer pouring heart and soul into these covers, Bushman Sings the Bush Doctor: A Tribute to Peter Tosh doesn’t necessarily feel cautious, but these recordings are so true to the originals in arrangement, instrumentation, and performance that it might be a case of respect getting in the way. Bushman’s take on “Legalize It” features the same combination of laid-back and militant that Tosh crafted on the original, while his version of “Stepping Razor” bounces from cool to kinetic in a way that’s familiar to any reggae fan. That familiarity might undermine the song’s sense of danger for some, and while it isn’t Bushman’s fault that most will come to this tribute with a full awareness of the material, his choice to play these covers straight is perplexing, especially with so much forward-thinking music in his back catalog. When it comes to both quality of performance and connection to the material, Bushman is well above admirable throughout the album, and with Tarrus Riley taking the place of Mick Jagger on “Don’t Look Back,” the cut is modern roots of the highest order. Fans who agree with Bushman’s choice to redo, rather than rework or remodel, these songs will have no complaints. Others may feel that this satisfying tribute is a missed opportunity and could have really been a stupendous one.
