Commented: Before and After Nice job, but if it were my kitchen I'd rather have the cook top near the sink or refrigerator. I'm not a fan of the backsplash. I think a simple cream colored subway tile would highlight the counter ...

Commented: paint color I like the color you already have. Another choice would be a color close to the color of the tile. If you want a contrasting color a light fern green would work.
