Program: Catholic Archbishops admit 'catastrophic failure' at child sexual abuse Royal Commission

'A catastrophic failure'.

That's how five of Australia's Catholic Archbishops have agreed describes their church's response to child sexual abuse.

The Archbishops were giving evidence to the Royal Commission this afternoon.

Some of the clerics told the Commission their parishioners and the wider public would never let them get away with the autocratic behaviour of the predecessors.
