Esbarrando na falta de objetividade de seu ataque, que foi nulo, nas más condições do gramado do Santa Tereza e no antijogo do adversário, que cometeu muitas faltas com o objetivo de parar as jogadas no meio de campo, o Olympic Club foi derrotado neste domingo, 22, pela equipe do Tupi de Juiz de Fora pelo placar de 1 a 0, gol marcado pelo atacante Mancuso aos 27 minutos do primeiro tempo. Com uma maior posse de bola o Olympic partia para cima do adversário, porém sem objetividade, devido à falta de um centroavante especialista. Já o Tupi se valia dos contra ataques para tentar chegar a área adversária e foi através de uma dessas jogadas que marcou o seu gol, ainda no primeiro tempo. Como prova do domínio da equipe barbacenense está o número de escanteios cedidos pelo Tupi, 17, contra apenas 4 da equipe do Olympic. Também o número de faltas cometidas pela equipe de Juiz de Fora, 32, contra 10 da equipe celeste, mostra a superioridade em campo que não se converteu em gol.
Nos bastidores continuam as reclamações do técnico Jurandy contra a diretoria do Olympic que, segundo ele, deixou de inscrever dois jogadores com os quais ele contava e que por isso não puderam participar da partida. O treinador até declarou a sua intenção de deixar a direção da equipe após o jogo.
A arbitragem foi o ponto negativo da manhã de domingo no estádio de Santa Tereza se equivocando nas marcações e permitindo que a equipe do Tupi abusasse de truncar as jogadas prejudicando o andamento do jogo.

Olympic Club
The Olympic Club is an athletic club and private social club in San Francisco, California. Its main "City Clubhouse" is located in San Francisco's Union Square district, and its three golf courses are in the southwestern corner of the city, at the border with Daly City. The "Lakeside Clubhouse" is located just north of the Daly City border; the two clubhouses are separated by about 10 miles (16 km).
The three golf courses are named Lake, Ocean, and Cliffs. Lake and Ocean are 18-hole par-71 courses, and the Cliffs is a nine-hole par-3 course in the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. All three venues are lined with many trees (almost 40,000 on the Lake course) and offer views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate Park. The United States Golf Association recognizes the Olympic Club as one of the first 100 golf clubs established in the United States.
History
First named the "San Francisco Olympic Club", it is the oldest athletic club in the United States. Established on May 6, 1860, its first officers were President, G.W. Bell, Secretary, E. Bonnell, Treasurer, H.G. Hanks, and Leader, Arthur Nahl.

Barbacena
Barbacena is a municipality in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. As of 2013, the municipality had 132,980 inhabitants. The total area of the municipality is 788 km2 (304 sq mi).
It is in the foothills of the Serra da Mantiqueira south of the state capital Belo Horizonte at an elevation of 1,136 m (3,727 ft), making it one of the ten highest cities in Brazil. Located on the important BR-040 highway (also called Rodovia JK), which links Brasília to Rio de Janeiro, it is 165 km (103 mi) from the state capital and 97 km (60 mi) Juiz de Fora.
Barbacena has a humid tropical climate with cool summers due to the elevation. Summer averages are 24 °C (75 °F) and winter averages 13 °C (55 °F). The cool climate and abundant rainfall have made Barbacena a center for flower production — the city is the biggest producer of flowers in Minas Gerais, and is nicknamed "City of Roses". Cattle raising and the dairy industry are quite developed and the city is a big producer of milk products; there are also several small textile factories.

From there, head into one of the popular night clubs like Lapa 40 or Rio Scenarium.
And if you have the opportunity, you gotta experience a Monobloco concert at Fundição Progresso.
Saturday - Samba School
Sunday - Beach, Santa Teresa or Urca
And If you’re still alive on Sunday, you have a few options… You could go to the beach and relax, re-hydrate with a coconut water, and watch the sunset from Arpoador, maybe you’d prefer heading to Santa Teresa, eat a traditional Feijoada and watch the sunset from Hotel Santa Teresa, or you can go down to my favorite neighborhood in all of Rio, Urca, to drink a few beers with friends along the Marina and enjoy the views.
Whatever you decide, just make sure you get enough rest to do it all over again tomorrow.

Nearly 70 equine athletes in the Olympic Equestrian Events have landed in Hong Kong over the past three days, stepping off their flights and being whisked by first-class transport to spacious and cool accommodations in Sha Tin. The cosmopolitan horses represent 18 nations including Belgium, Finland, Mexico, Italy, Japan, Sweden, France, South Korea, Russia, Canada and Germany. Marie Johnson, stable manager for German legend and four-time Olympic-gold medallist Ludger Beerbaum, said the horses' transportation, particularly the flight from Amsterdam, was the smoothest she had ever witnessed in more than 50 such trips.
The first batches of priceless horses, which the New York Times has likened to rock stars, arrived from Amsterdam and Atlanta on Saturday. They allowed a few photos to be taken at Hong Kong International Airport but declined to linger for interviews or autograph signing. Ushered into the Hong Kong Jockey Club's air-conditioned floats, they were taken to the Olympic Equestrian Venue in Sha Tin, accompanied by an entourage of Hong Kong police and Jockey Club grooms, veterinarians and mechanics.
"The horses travelled by business class, as each container accommodated just two horses instead of the usual three," said Hong Kong's Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing, referring to the compartments in the Jockey Club floats. "The horses travelled very well. It was a smooth, trouble-free transfer to the venue."
At Sha Tin, each horse checked into an air-conditioned stall of almost 13 square meters, larger than the Olympic standard.
Olympic Veterinary Services Manager Christopher Riggs, also the Jockey Club's head of Veterinary Clinical Services, reported Saturday evening that the horses "are having a good stroll in the shade, a light meal and relaxing in a nice, cool environment." Dr. Thomas Sit, quarantine officer of the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, said "the health condition of the horses is excellent" and commented that the horses' quarantine documents were all in order.
In all, around 220 horses competing for 42 nations are traveling on more than 50 airplanes to get to the Games in Hong Kong. "I am confident that transportation of other horses will also be carried out smoothly and safely, to enable the horses to compete in their best condition," Secretary Tsang said.

Esbarrando na falta de objetividade de seu ataque, que foi nulo, nas más condições do gramado do Santa Tereza e no antijogo do adversário, que cometeu muitas faltas com o objetivo de parar as jogadas no meio de campo, o Olympic Club foi derrotado neste domingo, 22, pela equipe do Tupi de Juiz de Fora pelo placar de 1 a 0, gol marcado pelo atacante Mancuso aos 27 minutos do primeiro tempo. Com uma maior posse de bola o Olympic partia para cima do adversário, porém sem objetividade, devido à falta de um centroavante especialista. Já o Tupi se valia dos contra ataques para tentar chegar a área adversária e foi através de uma dessas jogadas que marcou o seu gol, ainda no primeiro tempo. Como prova do domínio da equipe barbacenense está o número de escanteios cedidos pelo Tupi, 17, contra apenas 4 da equipe do Olympic. Também o número de faltas cometidas pela equipe de Juiz de Fora, 32, contra 10 da equipe celeste, mostra a superioridade em campo que não se converteu em gol.
Nos bastidores continuam as reclamações do técnico Jurandy contra a diretoria do Olympic que, segundo ele, deixou de inscrever dois jogadores com os quais ele contava e que por isso não puderam participar da partida. O treinador até declarou a sua intenção de deixar a direção da equipe após o jogo.
A arbitragem foi o ponto negativo da manhã de domingo no estádio de Santa Tereza se equivocando nas marcações e permitindo que a equipe do Tupi abusasse de truncar as jogadas prejudicando o andamento do jogo.
