Mountain View Cemetery may refer to:
A mountain is a large landform that stretches above the surrounding land in a limited area, usually in the form of a peak. A mountain is generally steeper than a hill. Mountains are formed through tectonic forces or volcanism. These forces can locally raise the surface of the earth. Mountains erode slowly through the action of rivers, weather conditions, and glaciers. A few mountains are isolated summits, but most occur in huge mountain ranges.
High elevations on mountains produce colder climates than at sea level. These colder climates strongly affect the ecosystems of mountains: different elevations have different plants and animals. Because of the less hospitable terrain and climate, mountains tend to be used less for agriculture and more for resource extraction and recreation, such as mountain climbing.
The highest mountain on Earth is Mount Everest in the Himalayas of Asia, whose summit is 8,850 m (29,035 ft) above mean sea level. The highest known mountain on any planet in the Solar System is Olympus Mons on Mars at 21,171 m (69,459 ft).

A cemetery or graveyard is a place where the remains of deceased people are buried or otherwise interred. The word cemetery (from Greek κοιμητήριον, "sleeping place") implies that the land is specifically designated as a burial ground. The older term graveyard is often used interchangeably with cemetery, but primarily referred to a burial ground within a churchyard.
The intact or cremated remains of people may be interred in a grave, commonly referred to as burial, or in a tomb, an "above-ground grave" (resembling a sarcophagus), a mausoleum, columbarium, niche, or other edifice. In Western cultures, funeral ceremonies are often observed in cemeteries. These ceremonies or rites of passage differ according to cultural practices and religious beliefs. Modern cemeteries often include crematoria, and some grounds previously used for both, continue as crematoria as a principal use long after the interment areas have been filled.
The Oxford English Dictionary defines a cemetery as a "burial-ground generally; now esp. a large public park or ground laid out expressly for the interment of the dead, and not being the ‘yard’ of any church. (Cemetery c)" and specifies that the term "...originally applied to the Roman underground cemeteries or catacombs " Cemeteries are normally distinct from churchyards, which are typically consecrated according to one denomination and are attached directly to a single place of worship.

Mountain View Cemetery - Oakland California
Mountain View Cemetery was erected by east bay pioneers in 1863 within the city of Oakland after the city graveyard did not have a enough room to sustain the dearly departed. The cemetery would be designed by Frederick Law Olmsted who believed that man and nature should be in harmony. Today it is over 200 acres, contains nearly 200k interments, gardens, chapels, mausoleums, crypts, Civil War, Chinese and Pioneers sections all within the San Gabriel Mountains. The most famous area of the cemetery is a place called The Millionaires Row which contains some of the most prominent, powerful and wealthy men who made an impact in the state of California. This is a grandiose cemetery one of the finest in the state full of nature, history and lore. Also buried here is Black Dahlia whose murder is st...
Mountain View Cemetery in Fresno, Ca is one of the prime locations for Pokémon Go in the 559. http://gofresno559.com/mountain-view-cemetery/ Pokémon Go has brought me way out of my comfort zone and helped me to make new friends and acquaintances. It's also made me comfortable with visiting the cemetery. I should've stated it in the video, but if you see a service going on, there's plenty of pokestops there and so please be respectful and stay out of the section the funeral is in, or maybe even go to Roeding for a bit til the service has ended.
