Tony is an excellent tradesman and a lovely person to deal with. He's professional, articulate and works to the highest standard, ensuring a quality result. He provided a comprehensive, detailed quote together with a strong portfolio of previous work to demonstrate his workmanship. I liked that he was certified and was covered with public liability insurance. He arrived on time, followed up when he said he would and worked within our schedule. He was extremely tidy and left the job site looking meticulous at the end of each work day. I couldn't be happier.

Tony is a great guy, very communicative and does a first class job with his tiling. I would highly recommend A Valente Tiling to anyone serious about doing tiling. Thanks Tony, keep it up and see you on the next one.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?
Tiling requires a large amount of attention to detail, many tilers forget this trait because they're so concerned about getting the job done super quick. i work with quality over quantity, a job like mine needs plenty of love for finest results.
-
What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?
- I completed a Cert III in wall and floor tiling, - Awarded with 'Apprentice of the year', - Completed my course in 1/2 the time due to my employees teachings, - Taught by a tiler with over 20years experience, - I have over 5 years experience. - Demolition, Screeding, Waterproofing, Tiling and Caulking
-
Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?
I specialise in anything you could think of that has to do with tiling, from Demolition all the way to Sealing and Caulking the final product.
-
How do you normally charge for your service?
Pricing varies very easily in my industry. Pricing can vary due to: - Type of tile (size, thickness, porcelain or ceramic etc), - Surface we have to lay on, - Size of the job, Most commonly: - Time and - Per metre. Best way to determine it all is a face to face consultation/quote.
-
What makes your pricing competitive?
You should always wonder when a price is to cheap, i put in the time to deliver a final price for my customers that is fair on both parties. What makes me competitive is my communication, reasurance, my quality of work and the tidiness that comes with it.
-
Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?
At completion of any work that contains under 7 lineal metres of caulking will be done at NO COST. Work that i can't commence before 30 days (due to being booked out) will receive $50 off the total price (Work under 15sqm) or $100 off the total price (work above 15sqm)
-
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
- Have the surface or area to work on prepared, - Add 10% on top of the area you need to order tiles for (avoids extra charges if not enough tiles to complete job)
-
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
- Type of surface, - Metres to be laid, - type of tile, - Any types of angles etc, - In bathrooms ( any niches, cut shower base, skirting tile etc)
-

My name is Antonio Valente, my business name is Antonio Valente Tiling... My work ethics are very clean and i would like to keep my name that way. Im here to make my services available to you, this is my profession. Im interested in only keeping my customers completely satisfied.
-
What do you like most about your job?
I like the completion of my work, you start with a blank canvas and end with a work of art.
-
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
I started tiling in a family business and as time went by i gained so much experience and confidence in my area of work that i woke up one day, sat on a few thoughts and created my own path.
