Category:Articles containing unknown ISO 639 language template

This is a maintenance category. It is used for maintenance of the Wikipedia project and is not part of the encyclopedia. It contains pages that are not articles, or it groups articles by status rather than subject. Do not include this category in content categories. This is a hidden category. This category tracks instances of {{Lang}} (and templates that transclude {{Lang}}, including {{etymology}}/{{ety}}/{{derive}} and {{lang-xx}}) used in article space that specify languages for which "ISO 639 name" templates do not exist. The template's absence is usually caused by one of the following reasons:

• The template uses a valid ISO 639 language code, but the matching {{ISO 639 name xx}} template has not yet been created.
• The {{Lang}} template has an incorrect language code, e.g. {{Lang|sp}} instead of the correct {{Lang|es}}
• The {{Lang}} template has a parameter used incorrectly, e.g. {{Lang|rtl}} – this is someone trying to use the "right-to-left" parameter, and should be changed to |rtl=yes.

Common errors and fixes:

• All two- and three-letter codes should be in lower case. Replace Ar with ar.
• gr or gk for Greek; use el for modern Greek and grc for ancient Greek.
• Replace syrc with either aii-Syrc (Assyrian Neo-Aramaic written in Syriac) or syc (Syriac language).
• A {{Lang}} template may specify an ISO 15924 script for which a template does not yet exist, like lang|ne-Example, which is looking for Template:ISO 639 name ne-Example. To fix this problem, create a redirect to the corresponding ISO 639 name template. Copy the example at Template:ISO 639 name ne-Latn.
• The first letter of an ISO 15924 script should be in upper case in template names. Replace lang|mn-mong with lang|mn-Mong.
• {{Infobox book}} and similar templates have an |orig_lang_code= parameter that takes an ISO 639 code, not the full language name. Use |orig_lang_code=nl, not |orig_lang_code=Dutch.
