The fire started on the second floor of the office tower on Adelaide Terrace at about 7.50pm.

About 50 firefighters were needed to put out the blaze, which took almost an hour to extinguish.

A DFES spokesman said the cause of the fire had not yet been determined.
Fire investigation officers from DFES will visit the scene again on Thursday to try and find the cause.
