After registering, you may add further details to your profile including your birthday, location, political views, website, about me description, profile picture, and other information tailored to help foster real-word connections with others of like interest.
What information do we collect when I create an account using Facebook Connect?
When creating an account with Facebook Connect, we will pull data from your Facebook account to help create your Films For Action account. This includes your name, birthday, location, political views, website, about me description, and profile picture. We do not ask for your email address, but you can add this by going to your profile's account page (click "Settings" >> Account). After registering, you will be able to edit your profile as you wish, removing or adding anything as preferred. We will also look for any friends you have on Facebook that are members of Films For Action and add them to the people you are "following."
What privacy settings do I have for my profile?
By default, a users profile is public and can be viewed by non-registered users of the site. If you would like to include more private information on your profile we offer users three privacy settings. This gives you the option to only display your profile details to 1) everyone, 2) only other registered members on the site, or 3) only people you "follow." Your name, profile picture, comments, and the content you've added will always remain public.
What about the ads?
Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads based on visits to our site and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.
