MPS, M.P.S., MPs, or mps may refer to:
An election commission is a body charged with overseeing the implementation of election procedures. The exact name used varies from country to country, including such terms as "electoral commission", "central election commission", "electoral branch" or "electoral court". Election commissions can be independent, mixed, judicial or governmental. They may also be responsible for electoral boundary delimitation. In federations there may be a separate body for each subnational government.
In the independent model the election commission is independent of the executive and manages its own budget. Countries with an independent election commission include Australia, Canada, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand and the United Kingdom. In some of these countries the independence of the election commission is constitutionally guaranteed e.g. section 190 of the Constitution of South Africa.
In the branch model the election commission is often called an electoral branch, and is usually a constitutionally-recognized separate branch of government, with its members appointed by either the executive or the legislative branch. Countries with an electoral branch include Bolivia, Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua and Venezuela.
The Mazdaspeed3 is a sport compact hatchback introduced for the 2007 model year by Mazdaspeed and produced until 2013. Now in its second generation, the Mazdaspeed3 is a performance-enhanced version of the 5-door Mazda3.
Mazda unveiled the Mazda3 MPS (Mazda Performance Series) at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show in February. The same model is sold in North America as the Mazdaspeed3 and as the Mazdaspeed Axela in Japan. The vehicle is front-wheel drive and powered by a 2.3-litre gasoline engine. The Mazdaspeed3 was designed prior to the latest generation of hot hatches, including the Dodge Caliber SRT-4, Ford Focus ST, and the Volkswagen Golf/Rabbit GTI.. The engine featured in the Mazdaspeed3 produces 263 horsepower. The Mazdaspeed3 also features a limited slip differential. The car produces 280 lb-ft of torque.
The Mazdaspeed3 is the company's first hot hatchback since the BG Familia GT-X of the early 1990s.
The Mazdaspeed3 features the same turbocharged 2.3-litre DISI MZR I4 engine from the Mazdaspeed Atenza (known as Mazdaspeed6 in North America and Mazda 6 MPS in Europe, South Africa and Australia). In this application, it produces 263 hp (196 kW) and 280 lb·ft (380 N·m) when running on 91 octane gasoline ((R+M)/2). This is routed through the front wheels rather than the complex all-wheel drive system found on the Mazdaspeed Atenza. The Australian market receives the Mazda3 MPS with the same engine as the Mazda6 MPS with 190 kW (255 hp) of power. The engine was listed in Ward's 10 Best Engines for three years straight.
High powered front wheel drive street cars are certainly not something we come across too often in Australia. We first spotted Alex’s Mazda 3 MPS back in 2013 at the Calder Park drags where the car ran a very respectable 12.8 second pass at 114 miles per hour. At the time the car has some basic bolt ons and made around 220kW to the front wheels. Fast forward to today and Alex has just given the MPS a complete overhaul of the car. Primarily setup for circuit track days, Alex is keen on giving the quarter another crack so we popped down to Quickbitz to check it out on their new Dynotech hub dyno. Engine wise the factory 2.3L turbocharged 4 cylinder now features a forged bottom end. The cylinder head has received a comprehensive work over but stock cams remain in place. Boost comes from a ...
Commander of the UPDF 2nd Division Brigadier Peter Elwelu who led last week's deadly raid on Rwenzururu Charles Mumbere's palace in Kasese district, has blamed witchcraft and some Kasese politicians for the events of that day. The Brigadier told NTV that witchcraft was widely practiced in the palace, with the royal guards falsely believing that sorcery would protect them from harm when they engage security forces in a fight. Brigadier Elwelu also claims that some Kasese politicians were misleading their people to achieve their own selfish ends Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Like our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/NTVUganda

Opposition members of the parliamentary appointments committee that sat to vet the nominees to the Electoral Commission have boycotted the exercise. Leader of Opposition in Parliament Winnie Kiiza told NTV that they could not be party to vetting nominees whose nomination was not done in good faith by the President. She explained that the Inter-party organization for dialogue that brings together political parties in Parliament, including the ruling NRM party, agreed that the new Electoral Commission would only be appointed after electoral reforms are made. Upon lines of trees
Inside caves that open up to cityscapes
I was a failure and they found me out
I was a drunk and blinded sailor
To sew your insides close
These are landmine carburetors
I find it hard to believe that the medicine is helping me
At the end of the day
The computer screens give blue and silent offerings
At the end of the day
View that all the trains are churches
And roads like muddy water
They gave you poetry and endless hours of conversation
And it affects the colors over
I'm a drawn out corporate warrior
On the nights that smell like water
Your clutch and your cross
Your voltage your watts
And at the end of the day
