An excellent collection of essays from around the world concerning a wide range of efforts to re-claim land in the face of land appropriations (often extra-judicial) by governments for industrial purposes, disuse, and ill-use--acts committed in the name of subsistence agriculture, non-commercial recreational use, and for use as public commons.
