Tailem Bend service station robbed at knifepoint

A man armed with a knife has fled with money after threatening staff at a service station at Tailem Bend, south-east of Adelaide.

SA Police said the man entered the Murray Street Roadhouse about 1:50am and demanded money during the aggravated robbery.

The man, who was wearing a full-face motorbike helmet, was also carrying a small ornamental samurai sword.

Both the helmet and sword were found nearby after the attack.

The suspect is described as 180 centimetres tall.

He was wearing a red and black check shirt, blue jeans and white sand shoes.
