Order 66, the event that crippled the Jedi order and largely eliminated them from the galaxy they swore to protect. A ploy by the Sith to eliminate all that could potentially appose them. While order 66 and the great Jedi purge killed the majority of the Jedi there were some who resisted and survived the initial attack. Some of the Jedi abandoned the order entirely and others would return to fight years later. Today we count down the Top 7 Jedi that survived order 66 and explain how they evaded the Sith lord Darth Vader and the clones they had once fought beside.

At the end of Revenge of the Sith, Anakin tells Obi-Wan that from his point of view the Jedi are evil...Why? There must be a reason other than "Anakin's crazy and power hungry." If we examine his point of view while observing Vader's thoughts in the non-canon book Dark Lord, then we can have a much better understanding of HOW he could even think the Jedi were evil...especially after killing Younglings.

Jedi
The Jedi /ˈdʒɛˌdaɪ/ are the main protagonists in the fictional Star Wars universe. They are an ancient monastic, spiritual, and academic meritocratic organization whose origins dates back to circa 25,000 BBY (Before Battle of Yavin; the destruction of the first Death Star). The Jedi Order mostly consists of polymaths: teachers, philosophers, scientists, physicians, diplomats and warriors, who value knowledge and wisdom above nationality. By serving others, the Jedi give of themselves through acts of charity, citizenship, volunteerism, and good deeds. Their traditional weapon is the lightsaber, a device which generates a blade-like controlled plasma flow. The organization has inspired a new religious movement, Jediism.
Overview
As depicted in the canon, the Jedi study, serve and utilize a mystical power called the Force, in order to help and protect those in need. The Jedi members, known as Jedi Knights, respect all life by defending and protecting those who cannot do it for themselves, striving for peaceful and non-combative solutions to any altercations they encounter and fighting only in self-defense and for the defense of those they protect. Like their counterparts, the Sith, their main weapon is the lightsaber. By training the mind and the body the Jedi seek to improve themselves by gaining unfettered access to the Force while also seeking to improve those individuals and groups they come in contact with.

Star Wars
Star Wars is an American epic space opera franchise, centered on a film series created by George Lucas. It depicts the adventures of various characters "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away".
The first film in the series, Star Wars (later subtitled Episode IV: A New Hope), was released on May 25, 1977 by 20th Century Fox and became a worldwide pop culture phenomenon. Great Jedi Purge
The Extermination of the Jedi Order--referred to in-universe as Order 66, Operation: Knightfall and The Great Jedi Purge--is a fictional historical event in the Star Wars space opera series created by George Lucas. It is a major plot element in the 2005 film Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, and is referenced in the Star Wars expanded universe. In the film, the Jedi are systematically eliminated by the Clone Army, on the order of the Sith Lord Darth Sidious. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda are among a handful of known surviving Jedi. The first person to be issued this order was Clone Commander Cody (who until then was under the command of Jedi General Kenobi).
Order 66
In the episode "Fugitive" of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, it is revealed that Order 66 was genetically programmed into every clone's inhibitor chip so that they would be more obedient when the order was given.
Depiction
Order 66 begins shortly before the end of the Clone Wars, which had been conceived as part of a scheme by Chancellor Palpatine to eliminate the Jedi and establish himself as the Emperor of the galaxy. Operation: Knightfall refers to Order 66's execution against the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, led by Darth Vader himself.

Darth Vader
Darth Vader, also known as Anakin Skywalker, is a fictional character in the Star Wars universe. Vader appears in the original trilogy as the primary antagonist, while his past as Anakin Skywalker is central to the plot of the prequel trilogy.
The character was created by George Lucas and has been portrayed by numerous actors. His appearances span the first six Star Wars films, and his character is heavily referenced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. He is also an important character in the Star Wars expanded universe of television series, video games, novels, literature and comic books. Originally a Jedi prophesied to bring balance to the Force, he falls to the dark side of the Force and serves the evil Galactic Empire at the right hand of his Sith master, Emperor Palpatine (also known as Darth Sidious). He is also the father of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa, grandfather of Kylo Ren, and secret husband of Padmé Amidala.
The American Film Institute listed him as the third greatest movie villain in cinema history on 100 Years... 100 Heroes and Villains, behind Hannibal Lecter and Norman Bates.

Order 66, the event that crippled the Jedi order and largely eliminated them from the galaxy they swore to protect. A ploy by the Sith to eliminate all that could potentially appose them. While order 66 and the great Jedi purge killed the majority of the Jedi there were some who resisted and survived the initial attack. Some of the Jedi abandoned the order entirely and others would return to fight years later. Today we count down the Top 7 Jedi that survived order 66 and explain how they evaded the Sith lord Darth Vader and the clones they had once fought beside.
