Sculpture Garden
Sunday 2017

Canberra’s best loved family day in the magical Sculpture Garden at the NGA

Sculpture Garden Sunday transforms the garden into a wonderland of creative workshops, performance and installations inspired by the Versailles: Treasures from the Palace exhibition and the beautiful outdoor setting.

The gold, grandeur and glamour of Versailles all combine into a sumptuous day of outdoor creativity. You may even see a king and queen parading around the garden.

Be sure to catch the live music concert on the main stage featuring local Mr Tim and the Fuzzy Elbows. Their original rock-out songs will entertain kids and adults alike, and make everyone dance and sing along.

Performance art will surprise and delight so keep your eyes peeled for the unexpected!

Bring a picnic to share under the trees. Coffee, sausage sizzle and other refreshments will be available for purchase.

All activities are free with materials provided.
