Subscription business model

The subscription business model is a business model where a customer must pay a subscription price to have access to the product/service. The model was pioneered by magazines and newspapers, but is now used by many businesses and websites.

Rather than selling products individually, a subscription sells periodic (monthly or yearly or seasonal) use or access to a product or service, or, in the case of such non-profit organizations as opera companies or symphony orchestras, it sells tickets to the entire run of five to fifteen scheduled performances for an entire season. Thus, a one-time sale of a product can become a recurring sale and can build brand loyalty. It is used for anything where a user is tracked in both a subscribed and unsubscribed status.

Membership fees to some types of organizations, such as trade unions, are also known as subscriptions.

Industries that use this model include mail order book sales clubs and music sales clubs, cable television, satellite television providers with pay-TV channels, satellite radio, telephone companies, cell phone companies, internet providers, software providers, websites (e.g., blogging websites), business solutions providers, financial services firms, fitness clubs, lawn mowing and snowplowing services and pharmaceuticals, as well as the traditional newspapers, magazines and academic journals.

Bawa Muhaiyaddeen

Muhammad Raheem Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (died December 8, 1986) was a Tamil-speaking teacher and Sufi mystic from the island of Sri Lanka who first came to the United States on October 11, 1971 and established the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship in Philadelphia. From Philadelphia, with its approximately 1,000 followers, branches of the Fellowship have spread throughout the United States and Canada, as well Australia and the UK. Societies of followers were already in Jaffna and Colombo, Sri Lanka before his arrival in the USA.

Early life

According to the older Sri Lankan students, Bawa Muhaiyaddeen emerged from the jungles of that country in the early 1940s and met pilgrims who were visiting shrines in the north. Reports of dreams or mystical meetings that preceded a 'physical' meeting by these early students were not uncommon. According to an account from the 1940s, Bawa Muhaiyaddeen had spent time in 'Kataragama', a jungle shrine in the south of the island, and in 'Jailani', a cliff shrine dedicated to 'Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani of Baghdad. His association with that Shaikh indicates his connection to the Qadiri order of Sufism. Many of his followers who lived around the northern town of Jaffna were Hindus and addressed him as swami or guru. His role was often as healer of both medical and spiritual illnesses, including curing demonic possession.

Ranjit Bawa

Ranjit Bawa is a Punjabi singer. He is known for his Punjabi songs. He was born in wadala granthian village near Gurdaspur. He rose to fame from his single "Jatt Di akal" which broke many records in Punjab. He made his debut in the 2015 Album, Mitti Da Bawa Best World Album Award in the 2015 Brit Asia Awards. He has also received "PTC Best Folk oriented Song Award" in 2013 for his Song in 2013, Jatt Di Akal. He has made his film debut in 2015 playing the title role in Toofan Singh, a semi-biographical film about the 1980s Punjabi activist.

Early life

He was connected with the music since his childhood. He used to sing songs in his school days too. In Class 6, he sang a song at his school for which he was praised by his teachers and others. Then his music teacher Master Mangal trained him and he motivated him to participate in music competitions. While, Ranjit Bawa was doing his graduation from Guru Nanak College, Batala, and post-graduation at Khalsa College, Amritsar, Ranjit Bawa participated in many singing competitions came first each competition for six years in series. In an interview Ranjit Bawa says “For those six years, I sang a Pakistani song, Bol Miti Deya Baweya, which made me popular as ‘Bawa’. That is why, he is also known as Bawa.

Tata DoCoMo

Tata DOCOMO is an Indian cellular service provider on the GSM, CDMA and platform-arising out of the strategic joint venture between Tata Teleservices and NTT Docomo in November 2008. DOCOMO stands for Do Communications Over Mobile Network. It is the country's seventh largest operator in terms of subscribers (including both GSM and CDMA).Fast growing network. On 2015 spectrum auction tata docomo won 10 mHz frequency bandwidth in Tamil Nadu circle

History

Tata DOCOMO is part of the Indian conglomerate Tata Group. The company received the license to operate GSM services in nineteen telecom circles and was allotted spectrum in eighteen of these circles and launched GSM services on 24 June 2009. It began operations first in South India and currently operates GSM services in eighteen of twenty two telecom circles. It has licences to operate in Delhi but has not been allocated spectrum from the Government. Docomo provides services throughout India. Tata DOCOMO offers both prepaid and postpaid cellular phone services. It has become very popular with its one-second pulse especially in semi-urban and rural areas.
