A US family now has three birthdays to celebrate on the same day in January.
Aimee Hernando was born on January 18 - her mother's birthday.
This year, instead of celebrating turning 33 with candles and cake, Hernando was busy adding another member to the family line - on the same day her mother was turning 56, ABC News reported.
And on that day, she gave birth to her fourth child, a daughter called Miracle Joy.
After telling her doctor her baby "has to come before midnight", Hernando was rewarded with a gift she describes as "the best birthday present ever."
"When I went into labour I just kept thinking 'Oh my goodness! Is this really happening?'" Hernando told ABC.
The three females also fall into a pattern when it comes to birth weights.
Hernando's mother weighed 6 pounds 10 ounces (3kg) at birth, Hernando herself weighed 6 pounds nine ounces (2.97kg) and baby Miracle tipped the scales at 6 pounds 8 ounces (2.95kg)..
Statistician Keith Devlin told ABC the odds of a shared birthday spanning three generations is one in 133,225.
