FIREFIGHTERS are currently battling a large blaze at a home in Willow Vale.

Emergency services were called at 3.15pm this afternoon to reports of a house fire which is well involved.

Six fire crews are on scene, with paramedics on standby.

More firefighters are expected to arrive, and police are also on scene.

Thick, black smoke from the blaze can be seen as far away as Helensvale.

At this point in time it is believed that no one has been injured and police do not believe it is suspicious.
