“I love animals and I love to learn. This camp allows me to be me.” Those are the words of one Camp Zoofari participant. With support from donors like you, the Houston Zoo sets aside Camp Zoofari spots every summer just for economically disadvantaged children in our area. Your Send a Kid to Camp gift gives kids unforgettable opportunity to learn about animals, their habitats, and how they can save can wildlife.

The Camp Zoofari Experience
Camp Zoofari is packed with fun and engaging camps offering different themes. With “The Zoo Around You,” kids learn about the many animal species that call Texas home. At “Wildlife Arts,” campers express their wild creativity. And at “Keeper Camp,” young learners go behind the scenes to discover what it takes to be a zookeeper!
