Creative Victoria is a government body dedicated to supporting, championing and growing the state’s creative industries, spanning arts, culture, screen, design and more.

Creative Victoria invests in Victorian ideas, creativity and talent, as well as a wide range of creative and cultural organisations, events and projects. We work to raise the profile, reach and impact of Victoria’s creative industries, support the career development of local artists and creative professionals, and ensure that all Victorians benefit from our creative sector – from school kids to businesses.

Creative Victoria oversees the state’s major creative and cultural organisations, collections and facilities, valued at $7 billion, and ensures that these can be enjoyed by the Victorian people and visitors to the state.

In bringing state government support for the creative industries under one banner, Creative Victoria aims to up new opportunities for innovation, collaboration, cross-promotion and growth both across these industries and beyond.

Creative Victoria is part of the Victorian Government’s Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources, and reports to the Minister for Creative Industries, Martin Foley MP.
