Perth man attacked during car sale attempt

A man who believed he was meeting two other men at a Perth train station to discuss selling his car has been allegedly attacked in a violent robbery. 

A police spokeswoman said the 21-year-old victim had arranged to meet the two men around 7.30pm at Beckenham Train Station car park on Sunday night.

Violent robbery at Beckenham train station

A Perth man's been targeted in a violent robbery at Beckenham train station after a thief reportedly attacked him with tools.

"During the exchange, a physical altercation took place between the two men and the victim," she said. 

Nine News Perth reported the man was attacked with tools and received serious injuries to his face. 

He was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital where he remained in a stable condition on Monday morning. 

The man's vehicle, which has been damaged, remained in the car park on Monday.
