He recently paid tribute to his sister on social media for her special day.

And now, David Beckham has turned the spotlight on his youngest son Cruz as he celebrates his 12th birthday in a heartwarming Instagram post on Sunday.

The 41-year-old shared a heartfelt message about his charming son - who released his first single If Every Day Was Christmas in December in aid of charity - as he posted a candid snap of the pair on the beach, showcasing their uncanny likeness.

While dad David sported a 'Limitless' emblazoned trucker cap, tween Cruz - who is managed by Scooter Braun - smirked as coloured suncream covered his face. 

Captioning his post to his 33 million followers, the former footballer wrote: 'Happy Birthday to the cheekiest member of our family...

'He may be the cheekiest but this little man has the biggest heart and sweetest nature and any dad would be proud to have that in his son... 

Adding: 'At 12 years old he brings a smile and joy into the house from the moment he opens his eyes till the moment he falls asleep which normally means 8:30pm ( but we all know that means 9:30 right CRUZ ). 

'Anyway Happy birthday little man x love you'.

Earlier in the day, the sports star flooded praise on his younger sister Joanne as he wished her a happy birthday.  

'Happy birthday jo... To the most amazing person, sister and daughter anyone could want,' the former footballer captioned the lovely throwback snap of the siblings dancing away as children. 

'Have the most amazing day because you deserve all the luck and love in the world ❤ @joannebeckham p.s not sure about my dancing moves or my mum and dads carpet,' he continued. 

The vintage snap proved to be adorable with little David impressively standing on his tip-toes while Joanne held on to his hands.

David and the family were spotted in Canada on Sunday morning preparing to jet back to the UK after their idyllic winter getaway.

17-year-old Brooklyn wore his left arm in a sling after breaking his collarbone while snowboarding down the slopes in Whistler.

Brooklyn shared a video of the moment he injured himself on Instagram where he showed his impressive snowboarding ability leading up to the accident, smoothly carving through the powder in the scenic setting.

After seemingly negotiating the trickiest part of the descent, he falls forwards while on an innocuous wide expanse, cracking his bone in the process.

The video, which was viewed almost 400,000 times in the first four hours, was simply uploaded with the caption: 'Broke my collarbone at the end.'

Hours later, he shared an image of his X-Ray, displaying his collarbone ripped apart, putting him out of action for the rest of the trip. 

The family appear to be spending quality time together in the winter hotspot after a hectic and fraught few weeks.

Not only was Victoria busy preparing for her A/W17 showcase in New York City, emails were then leaked of David reacting angrily to not being given a knighthood.

The former England captain allegedly branded the Honours Committee ‘unappreciative c***s’ in the messages, and dismissed lower awards.

According to the revelations, the Honours Committee had already agreed that Beckham's nomination – almost certainly proposed by his PR advisers – was well 'merited' before a routine check of his tax affairs.
