Amazing video shows the historic moment Falcon 9 touched down at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral on the launch pad for the first time on land. The SpaceX rocket descended through the clouds before landing right in the middle of the pad, a perfect landing after a rocky start. The rocket was supposed to launch Saturday but took off 9:38am Sunday instead because of a technical error.

Kevin Olsen (left and right), the quarterback for the Charlotte 49ers and the younger brother of Carolina Panthers tight end, Greg Olsen (inset), was arrested Sunday afternoon on rape charges. He was charged with felony second-degree forcible rape, cyberstalking, assault on a female and second-degree forced sex. The 6-foot-3 junior, whose college football career has been marred with off-field problems, was booked into the Charlotte Mecklenburg Jail. In 2013, Olsen was redshirted at Miami, but left school in September 2014 after reportedly being suspended multiple times for breaking team rules and failing a drug test. His final strike at Miami came when he was charged with DUI and possession of a fake or stolen identification. The football standout then transferred to Towson University, where he was kicked off the team in March 2015 for violating team rules. UNC Charlotte administrators released a statement saying the 22-year-old was suspended from the football team. Greg Olsen told a spokesman for the Panthers franchise that he had no comment regarding his brother's arrest.

President Donald Trump (right) sent out a tweet on Sunday saying he was citing a Fox News report when he made reference to a security incident in Sweden. 'My statement as to what's happening in Sweden was in reference to a story that was broadcast on @FoxNews concerning immigrants & Sweden,' Trump said in a tweet (inset). The Swedish embassy in Washington had asked the US State Department for an explanation of Trump's comments suggesting there been some sort of attack in Sweden on Friday. During his Florida rally last night, the president made reference to a security incident in Sweden that apparently occurred on the previous night, leaving many Swedes baffled. The White House responded saying Trump was referring to 'rising crime and recent incidents, in general,' and not 'a specific incident' in Sweden. It was also suggested that Trump's remark were likely based on the Fox News interview between host Tucker Carlson (left) and documentary filmmaker Ami Horowitz, which aired the night before his rally. Trump's remarks came as he vowed to protect the US borders while addressing supporters at his campaign-style rally in an aircraft hangar at Orlando-Melbourne International Airport.

Fox News anchor Chris Wallace and former CBS anchor Dan Rather lashed out at Donald Trump after he called 'fake news media' the enemy of the American people on Friday. Wallace hit back at the president on Sunday saying he had overstepped and also grilled White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus over Trump's comments. Meanwhile, former CBS Evening News anchor Dan Rather launched a scathing attack on Facebook calling Trump's attack a sentiment that betrayed America's history.

While the President watched approvingly, Steve Mnuchin was sworn in alongside Scottish-born actress Louise Linton, 35, who revealed much more than bargained for in her latest movie, Intruder. Mike Pence (center) was joined by his wife Karen and daughter Charlotte as they toured Dachau, the former concentration camp that was established by the Nazis in 1933 near Munich, Germany. The VP and his family passed through the infamous wrought iron gate bearing the inscription, 'Arbeit macht frei,' or 'Work sets you free.' The Pences toured the barracks and viewed the ovens inside the crematorium, which were used to dispose of corpses in the horror concentration camp. The Pence family also stopped at religious memorials at the site and later attended a church service on the camp's grounds.

The first outer rain bands from a powerful Pacific storm headed to Northern California on Sunday brought light rain and wind and renewed warnings of possible flooding in the already soggy region. More wet weather is expected on Monday and Tuesday, and officials are preparing for the worst after Southern California was devastated by the strongest storm in decades earlier this week. The San Joaquin River at a measuring station near Vernalis remained at 'danger stage,' meaning it keeps approaching the top of levees, said Tim Daly, a spokesman with San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services.

Ana White came up with the hack while fitting out a tiny house (inset) for a client in Alaska. Tasked with creating an open space with enough room to sleep four in the tiny, 24-ft long house, she decided to raise the first bed to give more floor space.Instead of creating a ladder for a traditional loft bed, she built a moving platform which is controlled by a switch to bring it to ground level and back up again. It cost $500 to make and is one of a handful of space saving solutions in the home.

Haunting images have been released which show the crime scene where Kim Kardashian was the victim of a terrifying raid at a hotel in Paris last October. Screened by a French television network, the chilling photographs show the tape used to bind the star's hands (bottom left) and a tie used to gag her (top left) as she was robbed of some £8million worth of jewels. The 36-year-old was held at gun point, bound and gagged and left in the hotel bathroom while the robbers took several pieces of her diamond jewellery (inset). Viewers were shown a video re-enactment of the heist, showing a group of men holding the star at gunpoint in the middle of a room before she is held hostage in the bathroom. CCTV stills show several men walking along the road outside the hotel and they can then be seen together in a French café (top right). None of the items have been recovered, though several men have been arrested in connection with the crime.

Christian mom blogger Glennon Doyle Melton has revealed that she is engaged to retired soccer star Abby Wambach. The news comes after Melton announced this past summer her divorce from her longtime husband. Melton posted a photograph to Instagram this weekend, showing two hands with rings. The snap was captioned: 'Abby and I decided to hold hands forever. First, fiercely, and forever @abbywambach.' Wambach later posted the same photograph on Instagram. The CCTV video, from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, allegedly shows the moment which led to the assassination of Kim Jong-nam - the half-brother of the North Korean leader. A woman in a while top and jeans is seen grabbing the man and holding him back, while another woman is sprays a toxic substance in his face. Later in the leaked footage, he appears to be telling security guards that he had been sprayed in the face. Jong-nam, who often spoke out against his brother's regime, was found dead at the Malaysian airport.

Police say the bodies of a man and woman were uncovered in the home at Peabody, north of Boston, late on Saturday night. The victims, whose names have not been released, were shot to death and their bodies were found wrapped in rugs and plastic. X-ray machines were used to help identify exactly how many bodies were in the home after police came across multiple body parts in the bloody crime scene.

A video has emerged that shows the two unconscious men who were reportedly knocked unconscious by NFL player Darrelle Revis laying in the street in Philadelphia. In the footage, a man can be heard bragging the he 'just knocked both of these motherf*****s out.' The man speaking, who is believed to be Revis, then says to a third person: 'Shut up before I knock your a** out next.' Revis, 31, was arraigned on charges of robbery, terroristic threats, conspiracy and aggravated assault, after turning himself in to Philadelphia police on Friday.

Jordan Reeves, 11, of Columbia, Missouri, who was born with a left arm that stops just above her elbow, unveiled her invention of a prosthetic arm that shoots glitter to Shark Tank judges on the Rachael Ray Show last week. During the segment, Reeves told the judges her invention can help 'revolutionize 3D-printing for the medical community and inclusive designs'. Dubbed 'Project Unicorn', the prototype was created mostly by a 3D printer. It uses compressed air to shoot out glitter.

Colin Barnett launched the Liberal Party's state election campaign in Western Australia yesterday with some incredibly awkward dancing to Daft Punk's song One More Time. Mr Barnett and his fellow Liberals were filmed awkwardly dancing on stage while clapping completely out of time with not only the beat, but each-other too. If the song was meant to represent their bid for another term in power, the dancing will have been enough to put voters off altogether.

Connor Cox, 18, a student at Westminster College, left his room in a messy state while home for winter break, leading his mother Terri to come up with the prank. She gathered up all of the trash still in the bin as well as littering the bedroom floor, put it in a box, and mailed it off to him. He later shared the joke on Twitter, where it was shared hundreds of times.

Muffin the five-year-old tabby cat stands up on her hind legs, reaches up to pull the handle down, then hooks a paw behind the door of her home in the UK, to swing it open. The cat was rescued from an animal shelter when she was two and her owners say she is 'particularly astute at figuring out how to get to where she wants to go'.

Overconfident Joe Harding (left) was battling John Segas (right) in the British MMA 18 featherweight title fight in Colchester - Harding's hometown - last night. With the home crowd behind him, Harding won the opening two rounds and it was not long before he was showing off to his fans. Harding was doing so well he decided to offer up some dance moves to entertain the crowd (inset) and wind up his opponent. However, the joke was on him and his moment of comical mocking soon turned to disaster.

The men were taking part in Hadaka Matsuri - or the Naked Man Festival - which takes place every year at the Saidaiji Kannon-in temple in Okayama City in western Japan. The men shoved each other for more than an hour on Saturday night in hopes of retrieving the lucky batons, thrown by a priest into the crowd. The sacred batons - measuring 4cm in diameter and 20cm in length - are believed to bring good luck for an entire year to whoever catches them. At 10pm, after the lights were turned off, the men battled fiercely with each other in a bid to grab the pair of lucky sticks - known as the shingi. The winners are dubbed 'fuku otoko', or lucky men, and are promised a year of good fortune.
