Not what you expect As part of 'The Vampire Chronicles'... It's a chronicling. It is an in depth story of not only life as a vampire on the run, but the emotions in doing so. It describes the love and despise that Louie feels during his growth. Overall... It's a solid read, but certainly not a page turner. I'm yet to start the third one.
