'After two shots the clothes came off!' Malin Akerman talks about the time she posed nude with Fifty Shades' Jamie Dornan for A&F cover

Before he was Mr. Grey, Jamie Dornan was already getting comfortable in the nude.

On Thursday's Late Show With Seth Meyers, Malin Akerman recalled the time she posed semi-exposed for a vintage Abercrombie & Fitch catalogue cover with the Fifty Shades of Grey star.

The 38-year-old actress, who must have been in her early 20s at the time of the shoot, joked about the fact that she was modeling for a clothing line and wearing next to nothing.

'You are selling clothes, right?' joked the late night talk show host, referring to the cover - in which the only article of clothing is a pair of pink underwear that Akerman wears.

'Well, that was the whole question, I don't really know what we were selling,' the Billions actress laughed.

She continued: 'We got to set and after two shots, the clothes came off. [The photographer] didn't want any clothes on us.'

Seth continued to joke: 'If your youth was that exciting, you'd have to be Mr Grey to get off. You'd be like, "I can't do regular s**t - I used to drive around naked. I can't get off the way regular people get off!'

Dornan, now 34, may have been just under 20 years old in the nude shot. 

Akerman posted the throwback photo in question on Instagram back in 2015 with the caption: '#Tbt to the very naked cover of Abercrombie circa 2002 (?) w none other than Mr Grey himself @jamiedornan #50shadesofgrey #nakedisthebestwaytosellclothes ?!'

The shot shows Akerman in little pink underwear, her top half hidden by Dornan's head full of brown hair.

The British actor's modesty is covered by the door of the convertible the trio are sitting in. The second male model shows the most in the shot, flaunting his rear. 

The throwback shot uncovered by Malin, however, turned out to be the tamest of the bunch. A black and white photograph within the catalogue shows the three models walking towards a lake, all three totally naked.

Another shows them lounging around, with Malin's breasts exposed.

Malin is doing the rounds to promote the upcoming season of Billions, in which she plays Lara Axelrod, the pampered wife of a crooked hedge fund manager. 

The Showtime drama is making its return to television on Sunday, February 19.
