Zoe Saldana has welcomed her third child with husband Marco Perego.

In exclusive photos obtained by DailyMail.com the couple are pictured out with their tiny new addition, a son named Zen, in Los Angeles on Monday.

The 38-year-old protective mother cradled her little boy under a blanket during the outing and wore a casual ensemble of jeans and UGG boots.

The Guardians of the Galaxy actress was seen holding her newborn tight as the mother-son duo were spotted at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

She was later joined by her hunky 37-year-old artist husband, who brought a car seat-baby carrier with him to the hospital.

Zoe had a huge beaming smile on her face as she happily left the hospital with the newest addition to her little family safely tucked away in the carrier.

The New Jersey-born actress made the surprise announcement on Saturday, sharing a photo to Instagram of the tot with her two-year-old twin sons Cy Aridio and Bowie Ezio Perego-Saldana.

'Marco and I are elated to share the news of the the birth of our son Zen. We couldn’t feel more blessed with the new addition to our family. #threeboys... oh boy!"'

The actress didn't give anymore details, however, it's assumed she welcomed her son via surrogacy.

One of her sons - who she consistently shields the face of due to privacy concerns on social media - adorably caressed the tiny head of his new baby brother.
