He's the eldest child of a former Spice Girl and an football legend.

But Brooklyn Beckham has admitted that David and Victoria Beckham's fame went over his head until he hit his teens.

The aspiring photographer, 17, posed as Wonderland's cover star in a piece titled Ain't A Boy No More, and revealed he was hoping to prove his own talent and step out of his family's shadow.

Posing for the cover in a Burberry February 2017 breton stripe top and skinny jeans, the teen admitted: 'I didn't actually know that they (his parents) were big until I was about 13.'

And opening up about the moment their fame dawned on him, he added: 'I went to a football game and people were shouting my dad's name and I was like, "What?! Oh my God. I don't look at them like that."

Brooklyn, who boasts 9.2 million Instagram followers, is set to release his debut photographic book release in the summer.

The cover comes as he broke his collarbone during a family skiing trip in Canada last week.

The teen uploaded a video showing the moment he broke his collarbone while snowboarding, before he shared an image of his X-Ray which displayed his broken collar bone.

The video, which was viewed almost 400,000 times in the first four hours, was simply uploaded with the caption 'Broke my collarbone at the end.'
