A boy was captured on film shoving his mother and pulling her hair while waiting for a doctor's appointment in the US. The woman became more and more upset until she eventually lashed out at her son. Other people in the waiting room averted their eyes as the disturbing scuffle escalated.

Former Wallaby great Dan Vickerman (left and right) has died aged 37. Vickerman died at his family home in Sydney on Saturday night, the Australian Rugby Union confirmed, and leaves behind a wife, Sarah, and two young children. It is understood there were no suspicious circumstances in his death, which has rocked the international rugby community. Born in South Africa, Vickerman moved to Australia at the age of 21. The towering lock went on to play 63 Tests and three World Cup tournaments for his adopted nation between 2002 and 2011 before injuries forced his retirement in 2012.

Fraudulent Airbnb listings are on the rise - with scammers using fake pictures in a bid to lure in unsuspecting tourists. Case in point - a luxurious six-bedroom property just a stone's throw from Bondi Beach which can accommodate up to 12 people for $652 a night. Except the pictures advertising the 'luxury villa' depict a home that's nowhere near the world-famous stretch of beach in Australia. A Google reverse image search reveals the pictures (top and bottom left) on the listing are actually of a four-bedroom property in Key Biscayne, Florida, that's worth $3.26million - and more than 15,000km away. And the address for the listing is actually a hostel for backpackers located above a Mexican restaurant (top and bottom right).

This is the horrific moment a man allegedly sped into oncoming traffic on purpose and killed a woman. Terrified witnesses captured on camera as the 45-year-old driver ran dozens of cars off a highway south of Perth. The vehicle, with a tarpaulin hanging from a back window, is seen driving erratically for several minutes along the Bussell Highway.

Huntington's disease is a hereditary disorder of the central nervous system which leads to a lack of muscle control and wastage, mood swings, personality changes and memory loss. Children of sufferers have a 50 50 chance of inheriting the condition.

The impact from the collision with a Renault left the woman with a badly broken leg.

Health and fitness guru Emily Skye, 32, from the Gold Coast, has won over thousands of young women by posting a photo of her stomach (right) after a month-long overseas holiday. 'Sometimes I look like the pic on the left, sometimes times I look like the pic on the right - I don't always have abs or look lean and I'm never "perfect",' she wrote alongside a comparison snap of herself. Western Sydney Wanderers fans have been slammed by the FFA after a homophobic banner was unfurled during the second half of their derby victory at ANZ Stadium. The banner depicted a blue face man giving oral sex. A-League chief executive Greg O'Rourke said the league would not tolerate sporting banners with discriminatory messages, adding they were reviewing CCTV footage of the incident

Dramatic photos capture the moment that eight asylum-seekers, including four children, barely made it across the Canadian border on Friday as a US border patrol officer tried to stop them. As a US Customs and Border Patrol officer seized their passports and questioned a man in the front passenger seat of a taxi that had pulled up to the border in Champlain, New York, four adults and four young children fled the cab and ran to Royal Canadian Mounted Police on the other side.

This is the heartwarming moment a homeless man cheered after he landed a job and received his first week's wages. The unidentified man pumped his arms and ran across the road with delight after he was offered a permanent contract at a window supplier yesterday. He was given the job after a trial period at Central RPL in west Bromwich, not far from where he lives at a homeless shelter in Wolverhampton. 

The stomach-churning footage shows the man wobbling on the rope as he attempts to make his way between two cliff faces. His friends can be heard shouting encouragement as he desperately tried to stay on the rope. Eventually, he falls off the rope and is left dangling from his harness. The video was shared on a Facebook group for slackline enthusiasts in France, but it is not clear exactly where the footage was filmed.

It seems as if Madonna's new twins already take after their musical mama. The 58-year-old pop icon Saturday uploaded a brief clip to Instagram showing the four-year-old girls, Stella and Esther, singing along to a piano rendition of the children's classic, Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. This comes about a week after the Vogue singer proudly announced she'd been cleared to adopt the adorable siblings by officials in the African country of Malawi.

Two cute koala cubs have jostled it out for a spot on their favourite branch at a Melbourne wildlife park. The pair of joeys were peacefully perched on a tree in the Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, in Pearcedale, indulging in a playful cuddle with one another before the cuddle turned nasty with one of the joeys grabbing the other by the scruff of the neck and tossing it from the branch.

Neil and Helen Robinson have both been deaf since birth and communicated through sign language, lip reading and failed attempts at using hearing aids for the first 12 years of their marriage until being fitted with cochlear implants. They are the first-ever couple to receive cochlear implants at the University of Southampton Audiology Implant Service. The emotional moment the devices were first switched on was captured on video - with Neil, 50, at first joking that he didn't like the sound of his wife's voice. The couple, who live near Salisbury, Wiltshire, were born deaf due to both of their mothers contracting rubella during pregnancy.
