Voting isn't the only way you can make a difference in shaping Victoria.

You can also nominate as a candidate and stand for election.

Candidate Handbooks

The VEC produces Candidate Handbooks to assist candidates with the nomination process.

For scheduled election events, such as the next State election, these handbooks are available approximately three months in advance.

For unscheduled election events, such as by-elections, handbooks are produced as soon as possible.

Privacy and candidate information

The VEC is required to collect and disclose relevant candidate information. See Privacy at the Victorian Electoral Commission for further details.
