Labor's views on One Nation

Former WA Labor Premier Geoff Gallop and current Labor Leader Mark McGowan discuss One Nation.

While the polls show a 7.3% swing to Labor that leaves it short of the 10% swing it needs to win power.

Mark McGowan remains the preferred premier over Colin Barnett 53-47 but that gap has closed too from 56-44.

When asked about the poll at a Saturday morning news conference, Mark McGowan said it showed the party had a lot of work to do.

"Polls are volatile and I have always said we have a big mountain to climb to win this election. It's 10 seats with a 10% margin that we have to win," he said.

"We have a plan for WA and it doesn't involve selling off Western Power. Its a plan for jobs, a plan for education, a plan to make sure that Western Australia is stronger and fairer into the future.

"All the liberals have is a plan to sell off Western Power because they have blown the books," said Mr McGowan.
