Here's a collection of videos (out of several) shot during my stay in Denver, Colorado in May 2013. RTD has 6 light rail lines (C, D, E, F, H, and W) which operate from Denver Metro suburbs such as Englewood, Lakewood, and Centennial to either Downtown Denver or Union Station. They use Siemens light rail vehicles (100s are SD-100s, 200s and 300s are SD-160s) which have a top speed of 55-60MPH. Measuring resistor changes with the temperature in accordance with a certain reproducible series of calibration data. Changes in resistance are transmitted as changes in voltage to indicators, recorders or controllers directly via copper wires or via transmitters.
