Produced by the award-winning Emu Productions, Maria de Marco’s Rapunzel – The Pantomime is sure to be a hit. This festive performance of the Grimm Brothers’ classic tale of a long-haired princess trapped in her castle is a family-friendly event, suitable for everyone. Held at Newtown’s revamped King Street Theatre, there’s plenty of nearby cafés to dine at, once the curtains close.

REGENT STREET BIG BAND LIVE, Friday 23 December (Marrickville)
The impressive 17-piece Regent Street Big Band will fill Marrickville’s LazyBones Lounge with its dynamic tunes to sound off another successful year providing quality music to the ears of the Inner West. The locally-performing act will cover iconic artists such as Buddy Rich, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Chaka Khan in what is promised to be an energetic night filled with great vibes!

CHRISTMAS EVE AT BALD ROCK HOTEL, Saturday 24 December (Rozelle)
Established in 1876, Rozelle’s Bald Rock Hotel is the oldest in the area and a beloved landmark amongst the locals. Whether you’re a local or not, this Christmas Eve the venue welcomes you to join the festivities for a night of celebration. With plenty of live music, Christmas carols and giveaways all night long, there’s plenty of incentive to come. And if you’re lucky, you may even meet the big, jolly man himself!
