  Very helpful, friendly and punctual, but not what I would call professional. Poor communication, and had to chase for official receipt. Also, damaged outdoor setting not covered under quoted transit insurance( white goods only ), however received 1/4 of value in refund to cover!

  On the downside, the movers rang up an hour before the job was scheduled to start to say that they were running late, which turned out to be a 2 hour delay as they're held up at the prior moving job. This was tricky, as we had sale and purchase of our home on the same day and the schedule was tig... This was tricky, as we had sale and purchase of our home on the same day and the schedule was tight. On the plus side however, once the movers showed up they worked very efficiently, and got the job done an hour quicker than originally estimated. They were very polite and careful with the furniture, asking for special handlings for example with the fridge. No issues at all for a tough moving job. The movers left my house around 7 pm heading to the next moving job, maybe 3 moving jobs on one day are a bit too much. But thank you for a professional service.

  The team at Move In Removals did an excellent job. They were punctual, polite and moved my stuff carefully. When one trip proved to be not enough to move all goods (my miscalculation) they were able to schedule another van a few days later. Only complaint was that the driver misread directions to destination. Otherwise, an excellent job and at very affordable rates. I am happy to recommend Move In. (Sorry this review is late, guys.)   I would recommend Move In Removals. Their price was good compared to other companies and the removalists were friendly and were professional. The job was completed in the time they quoted and they were careful with my furniture.

  The good - Exceptionally available. Urgent job replacement needed booking within days, most removals were scheduled for a month at least. Office staff were very precise. Movers very friendly, asked pay as agreed, only charged for time worked. -- The bad - Movers arrived half a day early, seemed put out when told that we'd have to keep on prior booked time. Movers were reluctant to help with packing as booked, required me to dismantle furniture myself (disabled person) before moving. Movers were not prepared for packing (boxes, etc), booking had not queried about it, so had assumed packing would include boxes for service or purchase. Movers seemed reluctant to continue working, left after three hours (booked for four-five), leaving large portion of unpacked mess of belongings at prior address. Movers collected bags of garbage in the move, a bit odd. -- The incidental - Movers were in casual clothing, which may have caused concerns when they arrived early.

  Arrived on time, and completed the job quickly in 4 hours (although the quote was for 3). The guys were amenable to thinking outside the box when working out how to negotiate our tricky staircase, which was hugely appreciated. One item of furniture fell off the truck when unloading, and ended up with minor scratches. One box got damaged in transit, but the contents are ok. They left a few marks on the walls at the beginning of the unload, but were much more careful after we stressed it was a brand new home.

  Didn't arrive at 2pm, came the following day as kept changing time on appointed day. Blokes great removalists. Management poor and unorganised. Obviously taking on too many jobs and management unable to provide any apology. Staff apologised.

  2 hours late then the movers were very slow very bad experience. Only good thing I can say is great communication from office staff until I expressed how Unhappy with lateness and service of move.

  Turned up 5 hours late, tried to charge us over double the quote claiming they were hired out by a different boss. Wanted to withhold furniture. Said they would call me to discuss next day, never called. Do not recommend.

  They were late, disorganised and changed the pickup time 3 times on the day, I had to call twice to see what was happening. They didn't have tools to take furniture apart, every other company I've ever used has had appropriate tools. They put a hole in my front door trying to get the couch out an... They didn't have tools to take furniture apart, every other company I've ever used has had appropriate tools. They put a hole in my front door trying to get the couch out and removed the door at my suggestion to try and get the couch out as they had no other tools. This ended up taking over an hour just to get the couch out. They then refused to give me my fridge off the truck at the end until I paid them for 3.5 hours when they had said they would subtract the time taken to fix my door. I rang the boss who was non apologetic and refused to do anything about the trouble.

When you called office for discounts,we gave you 15% discount.   Very happy with the two guys who helped us out, was only a couple of hours work for them - but they worked at a good speed, arrived on time, were polite and took care with the furniture. Will use them again without doubt.

  Mostly good ; quote was nearly half the actual cost - quoted 3 hours took 5 hours $390 versus quoted $225, arrived two hours earlier than the agreed time - making a last minute rush to clear shelves, etc that would have been done more systematically otherwise, items were left behind, but the old ... Mostly good ; quote was nearly half the actual cost - quoted 3 hours took 5 hours $390 versus quoted $225, arrived two hours earlier than the agreed time - making a last minute rush to clear shelves, etc that would have been done more systematically otherwise, items were left behind, but the old place was a bit of a mess so allowances can be made (a large carpet, heavy glass shelves, TV - although I was given to understand that they do not move TVs which was not mentioned at any other point than at the end of the move), and the movers were given the wrong drop off address in a different suburb - their office's mistake not mine, so there was an extra 45 - 60 minutes for what should have been less than a ten minute trip. Could have been avoided if the drop off address was checked with me before they headed off. The movers were polite & personable, and reasonably efficient, minor scratches on one piece of furniture, but not anything that bothered me. Overall, a satisfactory service, but if you have things about which you are fussy, spend more money.

  Move In Removals are very affordable. Unfortunately they were a little rougher than I had hoped for. And sadly they did walk mud through the new carpets several times despite there being options around this. So, they don't take great care, but they are affordable!
