What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have been doing plumbing for over 8 years now, Ive done my time as an apprentice, I received my certificate 3 and 4 in plumbing, Have been on my own now for about 4 years and growing.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I do alot of new homes, town houses, renovations, extensions, maintenance, Granny flats, emergency plumbing jobs, change over of Hot water systems, roofing and much much more. basically I do everything in all homes that's got to do with plumbing.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I try and get to every job and quote it, but more times than not, if the customer is able to describe the job to me over the phone i can usually give a pretty accurate quote. I also do hourly rate if need be.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have always been an outdoor person, from when I was a little kid, i use to always dream of becoming a plumber because I found it so unique and complex, great job.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I have plenty to be honest, so its difficult to remember but basically all my customers say tend to take a liking to me so its difficult to tell you which customer is better than others.

What do you like most about your job?

the outdoors, the new customers, the new and different jobs every day, I never get bored of my job because always something new to do and always new fittings available.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

If they are licensed, insured and most importantly trust worthy and on time, reason being is you want to be able to speak to your plumber when you call them, not always in a rush and not doing what he told you he would do.

What questions do customers most commonly ask you and what is your answer?

I get asked alot about my license and insurance. I show them my plumbing license and my business is insured. They ask for a price and time of start, And i never let them down or jump up the price later.

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

All my customers have my number saved in their phones not on a fridge magnet. reason being is when I tell somebody I am coming on a certain date and time I always come, and if i cant make it I will tell you I cant make it and not let you hear what you want to hear.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Most jobs are strait forward and easily explained over the job however, Some jobs such as new homes and excavation work need plans and permits, feel free to call I will always point you in the right direction.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. Sometimes I am able to tell them to buy their plumbing fixtures from a certain store because I know its cheaper. 2.I tend to kill 2 birds with one stone when I work so im good at saving customers money. 3. I like to treat customers like how i would like to be treated, so if by saving a droller is what they want i can help
