EDV provides professional development for school staff focused on the identification, early intervention and prevention of eating disorders.

We work with students to help them learn about body satisfaction, self-esteem and self acceptance, and to promote an awareness of the dangers of dieting and of more flexible, relaxed ways to think about food.

We also run workshops for parents to give them an overview of eating disorders, risk factors, warning signs and the protective factors that can help reduce the risk of an eating disorder developing.
