Fairfax Events supports hundreds of charities, raising millions of dollars every year.
Our portfolio of Sporting Events works with everydayhero so that runners can raise money for any charity of their choice, while we also run the Gold Charity program highlighting a number of featured charities. The Run Out Loud series alone raise over $5 million dollars supporting over 1,500 charities.
OzHarvest, is our Charity partner across the food events portfolio. We aim to engage our patrons through all food events in order to raise awareness about food waste and much needed funds to provide meals to vulnerable Australians.
The festival programs are a way to create events and raise awareness while also collecting donations at more signature events such as the Night Noodle Markets, providing the charity a huge opportunity to raise awareness to the general public about the issue of food waste in Australia, the face of poverty and the work that OzHarvest does within the community.
Our food events raise over $50,000 annually allowing OzHarvest to rescue and deliver over 100,000 meals to vulnerable Australians nationally.
